Our SBEZone Schools

South Bend Empowerment Zone (SBEZ) includes a middle school and its four feeder elementary schools. All of these schools are South Bend Community Corporation schools in the West Side of South Bend serving students from Early Childhood Education to 8th grade. We work with families, teachers, staff, and school leaders to design and sustain a shared learning community specifically tailored to the needs of their students.

Schools in the SBEZ collaborate to support one another, share resources, and capitalize on each school’s strengths through shared learning. SBEZ schools are dedicated to inclusivity and believe all students should receive the opportunity to an equitable educational experience to better their futures and the future of our community.
